I wrote it in 1979. Of course I read it again once it was brought to my attention, and it\u2019s still pretty good. In fact it\u2019s darned good, if I do say so.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerrypournelle.com\/chaosmanor\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/clip_image002120.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image002[1]\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image002[1]\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jerrypournelle.com\/chaosmanor\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/clip_image0021_thumb9.gif\" width=\"240\" height=\"8\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once again, I adjourn to mail.
